Visualizing Humanity

This work is designed to be installed in a gallery on a loop. The work attempts to help people visualize the impact of humanity upon our surrounding environment and world. By having the change be relatively slow, this video exemplifies the challenges with observing humanities impact on the world when comparing our day to day experiences. The changes from start to finish of this work become evident once the loop occurs which startles the audience into questioning how they were able to miss noticing the full degree of change in the video, thus causing them to question how much environmental change they miss as they experience their life in the real world.
